           The Pirates of Penzance production team bids:
We are currently looking for a director for our Michaelmas show, The Pirates of Penzance. Directing is great fun and we'd love to hear a variety of artistic visions for the show. If you are interested in Musically Directing, Artistically Directing or Producing then please e-mail Fergus (president@ougss.org) a very brief summary of your bid and you will then be given an interview time. The interview will be relaxed and informal and will entail a few questions about your ideas for the piece as well as a discussion of budgeting etc. Therefore all applications must be in by Friday 25th May (5th Week) AT THE VERY LATEST.

            Performers:
Auditions for our termly shows are usually held either at the start of term or at the end of the preceding term. Usually auditioners will be asked to sing a song they have prepared, and those trying for principal roles will also be asked to read through some passages of dialogue.            Musicians:
We are in need of pianists to accompany rehearsals and sing-throughs, and to perform in our semi-staged productions. We also usually have an orchestra for our fully staged show in Hilary term. Contact musical.director@ougss.org if you would be interested in playing in the orchestra in this term's production of Patience.

           Techies:
We are  always looking for people to help backstage on our shows in pretty much any capacity including lighting, props, set, costumes, and make-up. In addition, if you would be interested in being a Production Manager or Marketing Manager for our upcoming show, please contact president@ougss.org.
